Doctor Who -1988 Kandy Man – Screen Used Section – Large display
The Seventh Doctor and Ace visit the planet Terra Alpha, where unhappiness is illegal, and the planet’s secret police force, the Happiness Patrol, roam the streets hunting down and killing so-called ‘Killjoys’. The colony is governed by Helen A, who is obsessed with eliminating unhappiness, and in her employment is the Kandy Man, a grotesque, sweet-based robot!
This beautiful Large display contains a section of genuine screen used Kandy Man, from that 1988 Doctor Who story ‘The Happiness Patrol.’
The section is from the pink left foot of the Kandy Man. It was not possible to re-use this piece during the restoration process, so it has been made into these attractive displays.
For your interest, we have also included in the additional pictures, a shot of the foot that it came off which also shows the sugar effect they made for the production!
The sugar effect part of the prop is going back on the foot for restoration.
The size and colour of the piece will vary!
This display measures 250mm x 150 mm x 12mm thick, is made from 3 layers of laser-cut acrylic with plated stainless steel fixings, and makes a great gift.
Supplied in a black cotton gift bag and has a signed certificate of authenticity printed into the back of the display itself.
