A sketch of a London apartment from the production of David Crane and Marta Kauffman’s classic sitcom Friends. The series ran from 1994 to 2004 and revolved around six friends who lived in Manhattan, New York City. A two-part, fourth season finale called “The One with Ross’s Wedding” was set in London.

Labelled “Friends London Aparts B”, the drawing depicts a large room with a double-bed in the centre, two chairs, a table and an en-suite bathroom. The sketch is intricately hand-drawn on a single sheet of A4 paper in charcoal and pencil, with white paint appended to lampshades, light bulbs and windowpanes to create the illusion of light.

The lot exhibits minor staining and creasing, but it is in good overall condition.
