STAR WARS EPISODE IV- A NEW HOPE (1977) KRAYT DRAGON-SEGMENT MINI DISPLAY

Large carnivorous reptiles native to the deserts of Tatooine, Krayt Dragon are an important part of cultural history for the people of Tatooine. The Sandpeople revered the Krayt dragon as a hunter of great power, and as such their primary maturity ritual is heavily based on it.

In a ritual mirrored by many cultures across different worlds, young males were abandoned in the desolate dunes on Tatooine and would not be accepted back into their tribes until they had slain a fierce Krayt dragon.

Sandpeople and Jawas believed that the bones of Krayt Dragons possessed great magical power.

This great mini display measures 70mm by 42mm by 12mm thick, is made from 3 layers of laser-cut acrylic with plated stainless steel fixings.

It comes shipped in a padded presentation gift box and has a signed certificate of authenticity printed into the back of the display itself. It makes a gorgeous gift for any fan or a wonderful addition to any Star Wars collection!
