Doctor Who – 1972 Sea Devil Section Mini Display
This lovely mini display contains a section of screen used Sea Devil head from the 1972 Doctor Who story “The Sea Devils” starring the brilliant Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor.
The Doctor and Jo visit the Master in his high-security prison on an island off of the English South Coast. Colonel Trenchard, the Governor says that mysteriously, ships have been disappearing. The Doctor finds out that Trenchard and the Master are working together to contact the Sea Devils, a race of reptiles in hibernation in an underwater base. The Master intends to use them to help him conquer the world!
The costumes and materials that were used during this era of production were very delicate, and as such, pieces do perish and fall off over time, so we feel that producing these displays is a great way to preserve TV history!
These attractive collectable displays are made from sections that had become detached during the restoration process, so we must stress, no Sea Devils were harmed in the making of this display!
This display makes a gorgeous gift for any Doctor Who fan, comes shipped in a padded presentation gift box and has a signed certificate of authenticity printed into the back of the display itself.
The display itself measures 70mm by 42mm by 12mm thick, and is made from 3 layers of laser-cut acrylic with plated stainless steel fixings.
Please be aware: All of our displays are lovingly handmade in our workshops, and this level of care takes time, so although we endeavour to get them sent out to you as soon as possible, during busy periods, lead times may extend up to 7 days for our team to produce your display then post it out, so please be patient they are well worth the wait!
Note: Several variants of the Mini-Displays are available, size and gift-box images are shown for reference only, you will receive the Sea Devil display specifically in the gift box as shown.
